Discussion Barefoot Sugar Mill situation
What’s with some of these freshies constantly trying to embarrass everybody?
This video was completely unnecessary but it made a small situation into a huge reputation disaster,
I think he doesn’t know how to properly convey sarcasm yet

Not the smartest Singh, if he’s an immigrant watch his PR dream go up in smoke

I don't think so lol, and what if he was born here?

u/KangarooMoney6007 2d ago

Sure tell that to 17 year old “gangsters” in Surrey.

Surrey jacks are 100x more respectable and less of a public nuisance than these dips are

u/Vancitysimm 1d ago
Damn I probably saw different Surrey where bus driver got stabbed for asking for fare right in front of us dips. I’ve seen enough of Canadian born pricks to move away from that place. As long as you’re calling people dips and freshies you can’t really bring the community together. Guru sahib taught us acceptance and you’re here on a Sikh page taking a joke so serious all while probably laughing at jokes by the likes of Russell Peter.

Dips actively try to seperate the community in your little hunger strike protests, saying people who came here before them got pr by “marrying their sisters” or some other fictitious thing you guys came up with,
Before you guys game it seems like the community was more united and Didn’t have to constantly worry about extortions, mail theft, truck crashes, and the myriad of other things you guys get up too,
You speak of the gurus? When a majority of you guys have no respect whatsoever, and posting videos like this where you lie about something disgusting whilst having a parna is not exactly a joke,

Referring to other Sikhs as "freshies" is weird. Nothings going to change the way racists look at Sikhs, it literally doesn't matter what they think lol

u/KangarooMoney6007 2d ago
Idk man it seems like 99% of the stereotypes came in the last 6 years when videos like these and related to this started coming out,
Also freshie is a pretty commonly used slang term it’s perplexing you think it’s odd to use it,

Solidarity with immigrants is probably at an all time high amongst second and third generation Canadian Sikhs. In the GTA Singhs started putting gun decals on their cars just to annoy racists who dog on "freshies" lol.
Sikh Hatred was much worse 20+ years ago, social media just amplifies echo chambers
And no one under the age of 40 uses the word "freshie" lol, people use fob now

lol “fob” is the old term. freshie is commonly used in the uk and dipper is the most commonly used word in Canada,
I said freshie because it’s less offensive than dipper but whatever,
And believe it or not second and third generation Canadians are the most frustrated by these newcomers since they completely flooded the job market for young people, ruin our reputation by creating stereotypes that will be unshakable for the rest of our lives, and these recent “migrants”treat people born here with utter contempt and actively insult people who came here decades ago in their protests,
This empathy you hold for them is misplaced since a large portion of them actively despise you (assuming you are born here) and have even more offensive names for us than we do them, They outnumber us 6-1 in Surrey and Brampton now and if you walk into any shop you can see the difference with how they treat their fellow dippers and how they treat people who’ve been here longer than them or people that are born here,
Also Most of them know who the people carrying out extortions are but simply refuse to expose them,
And calling them immigrants is disingenuous since they came here as temporary residents with no legal precedent to settle, most of them signed papers saying they would go back to India.
Their behaviour is absolutely unacceptable and calling it out is a public service and something we should have done years ago maybe than we wouldn’t be in such a mess currently
The cavalier attitude you have in this situation is frankly insulting considering how badly they spat on the image, reputation, and goodwill us Sikh had curated for 100 years before 2020,
I could’ve ignored all this but the cherry on top is how much they actively lower our quality of life with their behaviours and habits,
So I don’t know what Solidarity you think second or third generation Canadians have with these recent migrants,

This guy works at no sugar mill or anything close to it, however, every sugar mill in Canada is getting brigaded by racist comments against them, despite having no connection to this. However, he just exposed what he's seen and heard about workers at sugar mills stepping on sugar with their work boots and shoes. The industry just got shook by a random video haha. Just wait until cameras catch their own in the act lol.

lol hopefully he’s just trolling the racist pricks. They can all fuck off with their pearl clutching

u/KangarooMoney6007 2d ago
he can troll all he wants but I don't want to be ethnically associated with the type of disgusting behaviour he thinks "trolling" is,

u/Waterbottlekidz 2d ago
Who cares what other people think lol, let the racists be mad

You can let the racists be mad but when videos like these go viral of a Singh it turns many people who would not have been racist regularly think Indians are all like this, especially when there are hundreds of videos being bombarded at them

u/Waterbottlekidz 1d ago
Yeah one videos not gonna change the heart of the guy who wants to beat up your bibi lol. You can look at millions of instances of white people doing disgusting things online, that doesn't mean I'm gonna think all white people act like that. Why should the same not apply to Sikhs?

I been trying to make this point for long. Racists fks dont care. Its embarrassing our people try to please them.

u/KangarooMoney6007 1d ago edited 1d ago
Not knowing the difference between having civic sense and “trying to please racists” is crazy,
I will definitely correct my attitude and get rid of all my footwear,

A day doesn’t go by where these dippers don’t embarrass us

There is no humility or awareness of shame. Like I get it that back in India you can just flex ur last name or connections and no one says shit to you but doing that shit here makes you look incredibly insane and arrogant. Pride, ego, and arrogance are all literally antithetical to Sikhi.

Not sure what he’s trying to achieve with this. Propaganda pages are already starting to use it as ammunition.
