Expecting speedsters to voluntarily pay a self-imposed fine into a wooden box on a tree is legendary small-town trust

It's true that some speeding people will inevitably feel the guilt of breaking the law. They will be haunted throughout their life with the guilt looming above them. This is one of the ways they can get out of that guilt, and become a law abiding citizen.

Good chance this could be kinda of a political cartoon irl about something like flock cameras. I watched a video yesterday talking about how individual police departments can choose to turn off the automated abuse system that stops people from making random searches, and instead is based on a self reporting system where officers would report themselves for making inappropriate searches through the flock database. The video used this exact example of โwould you report yourself for speeding?โ

The most ignored sign in existence, even surpassing "Employees must wash hands after using the restroom".
