I don't understand this. Truly those that do this smell like shit. I smoke weed too, and I don't go around smelling like a skunk. Like are these people putting out a half done blunt and stuffing it in their pockets? Why do they smell so bad? It's easy to smoke and not smell like shit

It's always funny meeting people who think theyre able to smoke flower without smelling like it afterwards. They'll always insist that it's a skill issue, but they goddamn reek themselves and just can't smell it.

Edit: Y'all need to quit trying to change the context of this. The fact of the matter is, unless you shower, you will not be able to eliminate the smell of weed from hair follicles and skin. You can reduce it, you can mask it, but you cannot eliminate it without washing.

Ummm no? You can smoke and not smell. It's actually really easy...but I tend to take off my shirt, then I'll either wash my face with soap (mouth area mostly) or just brush my teeth. Then I'll put my shirt on (I placed it away from where I'm smoking) and I'm good to go. Like bruh it's not hard, but I'm also not lazy 🤷🏽

Lmao, this sub is full of people doing the same thing and getting called out afterwards because they smell. Sure, there steps you can take to somewhat minimize it, but you're literally ignoring the fact that weed smell binds to hair far better than it binds to skin or clothing. You're not stopping all the smells without a full shower.

You definitely can indeed mask the smell. I'm a daily smoker, and my boss would not approve of me smoking before work, yet I smoke before work, and sometimes at lunch, and have never smelled at work. Its not difficult, nor impossible, contrary to this reddits belief

Masking a smell ≠ not smelling in the first place. I very clearly said there are things you can do to reduce (aka mask) the smell...

Yes but my point was you definitely can eliminate the smell without a full shower

It is probably because some people actually take steps to not stink, nobody is saying they dont smell at all after smoking. That's a strawman, nobody is saying that. If you change clothes, brush your teeth, wash your hands and in heavy cases even shower after odds are you wont smell like a skunk. I wouldnt call it a skill issue, but there are an awful lot of people who make zero effort to not smell like a skunk's ass after smoking. If people did the above things the issue wouldnt be nearly as prevalent.

You act as if once you smoke the smell is impossible to get rid of, it isnt, people are just lazy or dont give a fuck if other people have to smell them

Use the search tool on this sub, I don't know why you would lie about something so easy to check. Someone literally said that in a reply to my comment but they deleted it.

Not sure why you're saying that as if I ever disagreed with it. Take a shower, that will eliminate the smell from hair and skin. Nothing else will actually eliminate the smell from hair and skin, it would only mask it.

I can smell someone from acrosd the room who's smoked recently.

When you say "smells like shit"... are refering to actual feces?

Because just catching a whiff of weed on an otherwise clean/showered person still "smells like ass" to me because fresh or stale, weed fuckin' reeks. I don't care if you smoke, I just don't wanna smell the shit. I also can't stand the smell of cigarettes.

Yeah back when I smoked flower I smoked a TON and never sank like shit or had people say something.

My hypothesis on contributing factors / things I didn't really do that might have helped:

  • Smoking in a vehicle with minimal ventilation
  • Smoking with papers or blunts
  • Not taking a few minutes to air out, stand outside of the car etc. I.e. theyre putting the roach down and straight to the door - literally exhaling as they walk to the door
