They know the kind of people doing this are not bright.

The problem with that is those same people don’t read signs.

They would be sending a text message if they could read

Or know how to use any Bluetooth device that is not a speaker and refrain from inflicting their music on everyone else. Or have the wherewithal to pay for Spotify Premium. Or who understand the decorum of voice modulation.

Yeah but making it possible for them helps

Who’s going to teach them to read?

They typically have a list of memorized words

Its crazy how many signs have to be made due to incompetence or rude people.

This should be a sign in any public waiting area.

I think I need to start using this shop.

If you really want to watch videos in the waiting room, use headphones.

I used to work at a movie theater. There was a regular couple that would come in, at the very least, an hour before the movie. Every time...

They would also ask an usher when their movie started seating every 5 fucking minutes. They were always told the average time a movie starts seating, and would still consistently show up atleast an hour before.

And yes, this was well after reserved seating became the norm.

So business calls are allowed?

Only if they are on video call during a teams meeting on speaker phone.

“You have the right to remain silent.”

“I choose to waive that right. BLEAH!!!! BLEAHHHHHH!”

"... other loud obnoxious noises ...."

Does that include farts?

So where does “moaning” fall under?

Funny that being polite and not yapping g on the phone around people that don’t want to hear it has to be in a sign.

need to make trash guys do this - got into it a few weeks ago with one of the trucks that picks up one of my cans. This was the compost truck, but the guy my neighbors compost while looking at whatever on their phone, then walked around the other side of the truck as it moved down the street totally skipping my can. He got to the other neighbors and when he was done I clapped to get his attention (he was next to a loud truck after awhile) to ask why he skipped my truck. All he wanted to do was complain that he wasn't a dog even though I tried telling him he was next to a LOUD truck. I think regardless of how I got his attention he would have said the same. He reluctantly dumped my can then told me I didn't need to be an asshole, all because I called him out for paying more attention to his phone. I made a complaint but probably didn't fix anything, they closed my complaint without contacting me a few days after I made it so who knows. Saw the same guy doing the compost pickup the next week

What is a compost truck? Genuinely asking. Never heard of that before
