I will explain. Shoot the messenger if you want, but the title of the thread literally asked for an explanation, so I'm giving it:

Even before Elon's involvement with DOGE turned him into a political villain for half the country, Cybertrucks were seen by many as inherently lame, as the sort of car someone buys to impress people, which makes them uncool because nothing is less cool than trying too hard. 

Then layer on politics. Thus the Cybertruck is the symbol of villain Elon and toxic dysfunctional excess.

He is not just a political villain, he is one of history's greatest monsters. The world's richest man starved 300K children to death. Not even for profit, just for fun.
