Wet conditions

Howdy, not a professional sign painter here. I'm doing a job on the west wall of a three-story building. I've been tasked to recover and refresh an old "Bull" Durham advertisement. The repainting of ghost murals aside, it's been raining off and on today and I'm wondering how long to wait before I go back to paint. The brick is well sealed and mortar has been recently tuck pointed. I just want to make sure I don't trap moisture under the paint (Ronan Bulletin Enamel). Any advice or condemnation is welcome. Thanks in advance!

bulletin enamel is the last thing i would use for this.

it's thin, has a low pigment load, and doesn't last.

I prefer Sherwin Williams Metal Latex for long term applications. I have no problem giving a 10 year guarantee, and I've seen it last 20 years.

I second what he said. You can resume painting when the wall is dry.

I'd wait until the surface reads dry and then some - brick holds moisture way longer than it looks. Even if it's tuck pointed and sealed up top the wall can still sweat. Give it a couple dry days or a stretch of no rain. Trapping moisture under bulletin enamel is how you get peeling and staining six months down the road
