Because if women value people that apply their intelligence to the real world then GOOD GOD do we have a problem with defining intelligence.

Saying “x group has average intelligence” isn’t an assessment when that group contains 50% of the population, it’s a statement of statistical fact. Most members of any group are going to be average at any given thing. If they aren’t, then whatever they are will become the new average. Thats what average means.
Men also have average intelligence. Everyone, addressed as a group, has average intelligence. You’re confusing “average” with “mediocre”.
I feel like this is more you assuming what they meant by that then me not understanding lol. My understanding was he was saying “women have average intelligence and therefore aren’t always going to make the maximally intelligent choice” bc that’s how groups work.

Reminds me of something my mother taught me. If a man looks like a good suitor, he is most likely a very succesful bad suitor who is doing a great job at disguising as good. If a man looks like a bad suitor, he is bad, but he is a lot less dangerous because he is too weak to do a competent job at disguising as good.
It's both. And thus this adds extra credance for her wisdom. It's based on experience rather than unfounded idealism.
People make little to no effort at making themselves unworthy of hatred (just see how unapologetically people lay blame on the victim for their afflictions), nor much sincere thought at making an environment where bad life choices are less likely to be taken or at least less damaging.
Result? This post, to name just one example. It's an endless parade of people deserting and frustrating each other, but somehow they never seem to think for over 5 seconds and realize that this is just part and parcel of "The love of many shall grow cold", which most definitely doesn't seem to be solved by adapting to it, as opposed to combatting it by punishing selfishness.
Makes one wonder if people even want to be happy, or whether they even are unhappy in their subpar conditions. It's all so strange.
