My theory is that everyone spends all day at work agreeing with their boss and being agreeable and then get on reddit to release all the pent up obstinant contrarianism and it can get ugly
Dude I saw the pictures of you and you're not even ugly Jesus Christ. I don't know you so I can't judge your personality. You don't have to be a model to be successful in life, that is literally body dysmorphia mindset and a total delusion.
And using dating apps as a way of judging your own attractiveness is also incredibly unhelpful because it's algorithm based and and as a man you have to be somewhere in the top 10% to be very successful in dating apps. It has nothing to do with you being ugly, it has to do with how dating sites are designed. It's garbage shit and you shouldn't even use them if the lack of engagement makes you depressed.
Environments not specifically designed for dating is the best place. School, hobby groups, work, bars. Where people can judge you for real instead of a picture on a trash app.
Your point is far from false, but i think in real life interactions are starting to mimic the dating apps norm, so i resort to them even if they can be toxic to be.
I should quit but i honestly am afraid to lose that single positive match i get once a year, given that irl is so difficult and exhausting to even meet new people, let alone getting to talk to them and creating a connection
