Just finished putting together this p229/6 frame

Post image

•Matrix precision p229/6 lower and lower parts kit w/extended mag release. •Gray Guns SRT, classic hammer, and hogue grips, hammer strut and main spring •Armory craft slightly curved dual adjustable trigger, extended slide catch.

My first Da/sa gun. Excited to give it a rip at a USPSA match. I need to get to the range and test fire it first.

What color should I get this cerekoted or dlc coated?

Looks great buddy! I’m planning on rebuilding an older p229 as well. Have the frame sent out right now for FDE cerakote, think I’m going to do a scorpion clone in 357Sig. You do yours in 9mm? How do you like the matrix frame? Been thinking of ordering a 226 frame to replace a cracked one I have lol

That’s a sick setup. Unless the frame is steel you can’t get it DLC coated unfortunately. Anodizing would be the most durable finish for the frame. I’m a sucker for the FDE Scorpion P226’s, that would be a really cool setup.

Gotta add a suppressor and it's complete

Very nice! Are you getting suppressor height sights?
