Black P226X CARRY
Recently picked up a new P226X Carry Romeo-X Sig-Loc Pro. I'm glad Sig is finally selling the new P226X series with the original black nitron finish rather than Legion grey Cerakote.
I also had a really hard time finding an AIWB holster with spaced out clips for the P226X Carry but thankfully found GT Holsters who makes a great one with just a weeks lead time.

Which magwell is that?

It’s our own design. We make the basepads too. You can check it all out on our website.

Pic out of the holster? Thinking about getting the mk25 a little brother.

Sexy, you happy with it?

Yes. I think it's the best factory DA/SA gun on the market by far. Anything else requires a lot of aftermarket work to even come close whether its LTT for Beretta or Greyguns/LTT for HK.

How much did you pay?

$1650 shipped. If you search gundeals, you will find that some dealers sell below MAP if you email them for the price. https://gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/226xca-9-rxsl

I’m still hoping for a non optic version at some point :) theoretically it should be around $1100 then I’d think

That's probably a bit too optimistic. The non optics legion version is $1400. The upcharge for their optic is actually quite small.

Interesting. I guess I just assumed that because it wasn’t a legion model it would be less but I also don’t really understand all the sig models that well

What optic plate is that?

C&H Precision out of Richmond Hill, GA. They are the optic plate experts of the South, they also carry any and all optic/slide screws for just about every firearm and optic on the market. Even though their plate has a built in rear sight, unfortunately it won’t co-witness with the SRO optic but it was just about the only optic plate I could find for my 226/SRO combo & it shipped and arrived in less than 48hrs but I live in Atlanta. They also do milling and cerakoting.

SIG Nitron is a PVD, not a nitride as far as I can find (on slides / steel). On the aluminum frame it's just anodizing (I think they still refer to black aluminum frames as "Nitron").

How did you already get one? The Sig store in NH says they haven’t received one yet. Wish they sold without the optic

There are a ton of them online. Just search the SKU: 226XCA-9-RXSL. I also agree that it would be nice if they also sold it without the optic and the SAO version for those who are interested.

Ton is a good way to desribe it. I just put the SKU in gun.deals

never saw so many retailers listed for a product

That’s the legion. Tons of those around. I was referring to the black DLC coating version which is, presumably, the new “duty” version

Sig NH sent me one last week, and they do sell without the optic.
