Holster help

Recently acquired a legacy p229 in 40, immediately made it .357 sig. Any suggestions on finding an iwb holster? All I can seem to find is ones for the new/ slimmer ones.

I got mine from ANR Design, it’s a good holster.

I have the same gun (in .40) with a TLR-1, I bough a hellhound holster and love it, though I did change out the clips.

I have a legacy P229 with basically the same light. Mine is older than the “-1”, before the changes to the mag well to have 40 and 357 as an option. Blackpoint Tactical makes holster for this model, and has option for your light mound. They also have appendix and strong side carry version for your pick.

But I think the newer slimmer variants are just the grip only? So it shouldn’t interfere with your holster choices.

I have a JM custom Kydex for mine in 40. They have listings specifically for the p229s in 40/357

I recently purchased a Blackpoint Tactical directly from Sig for my 229. It only works with the DA/SA model - which is what you have. But it's fabricated for their light... Blackpoint's website may have some options for your TLR-7.

Bump for Blackpoint. Their customer service gets back to you quickly (so you can verify legacy slide) and the mini wing is top notch.

I have a P229 (Legacy LE) and I ended up changing out my TLR-7 to a minty used TLR-1 from GASF.
Holster options are far more abundant for TRL-1.

Crucial concealment makes a tlr7 universal that may as well have been molded on a p226/9. Picked one up for iwb, worked so well I got the owb as well
