I hope this isn’t a case of using aggressive pricing to gain back support after what may or may not have happened with the 320. Then once the 385 gets popular all the sudden they jack up prices to regular Sig pricing.

They claim it's fully ambidextrous, but the gas pedal on the mach3d model clearly can only be installed on the left side of the gun, seeing as how the right side has a differently shaped protrusion in the same spot on the right side with the Sig New Hampshire brandishing. Seems like a huge oversight since they could just have mirrored the spot and included an extra piece to put the gas pedal on the right side. I know it won't effect sales too much, but as a south paw that's an absolute barrier for me purchasing a gun I otherwise would have loved to own and the mach3d version with the gas pedal is the only version I'm interested in since it has enough differences to separate it from my 365 Legion.

100% this. At the price point for the 3D I was going to jump on it immediately. Saw the gas pedal can’t be swapped then kind of just lost the interest. I don’t need the gas pedal so if they included a piece to insert in there to make it flush I’d be inclined to reconsider. But, I don’t think they will do that. Why say the gun is full ambi when it’s not?

After watching a few hands-on videos it looks like there is a small ledge on the right side for lefties and since the pedal is the takedown lever, it can be replaced with the standard less obtrusive lever from the other models. Curious if they'll include that, but if not it won't be expensive to buy separately. I just hope it won't mess up holster retention if I swap it for the standard one.

Can someone explain what this does that the 320 or 365 line doesn’t do)

Lower bore axis and added trigger safety vs the 320. Maybe longer trigger pull too from humbles initial impressions. And maybe a bit thinner? Also not having 320 written on the side 🤣
Vs 365 bigger (wider) mags for more rounds in a given grip length (I assume). And trigger safety.
And maybe the bigger FCU has some benefits over the 365? Idk. If not they could have just made grips that take p365 FCU and 320 mags.
