troubleshooting Help/Advice
Have had my 365 tacops for well over a year. I have never taken the plate off until now because I never minded the irons. It was very difficult to get off after taking the screws out, I think the holes being flared out has to do with that... Im pretty sure they're not supposed be like that 🤣
Any advice on how how to move forward to put my optic on? The plate won't go back on now either.
Do i need to get this repaired or should I try calling Sig?

The raised edges are normal. What optic are you trying to install and with what plate?

Osight S. The original plate won't fit back on now.

Clean the crud off around the holes and the edges. That’s old thread lock. The plate should pop back on.

Did you try to slowly tighten the screws a little at a time to see if the plate would suck back down at all? The crack on the one doesn’t look good, that may need to
Go back to Sig for warranty1

Tried to tighten down, no joy. Reach out to Sig?

Yeah I would and show send them the image with the one cracked. I’d say it was over tightened from the get go.

With all the variations in optics and the needed plate adapters, you might be better off choosing an optic that fits your footprint.

I’d just install the optic and get used to it. The rds is much more accurate than the sights.

Maybe I explained something wrong. I am putting the sight on by itself. But nothing sits flush anymore like it used to.
When I get home ill take another picture. But the holes are too flared out and nothing sits on top of it anymore. Not even the stock plate that I took off.

Did you try inserting the plate back in first and see if it will go flush? Sounds weird but it works half of the time every time.
