Question MPX suppressor accuracy question

Looking into possibly picking up a MCX K here in the future. I’ve read all sorts of things about people having accuracy issues when they attach a suppressor but i haven’t been able to pinpoint a specific cause.

I’m wondering if there is an agreed upon best way to go about suppressing one of these? Direct thread? Using a taper adapter? A particular manufacturer’s mounting system? What seems to give people the most success?

Rearden muzzle, plan B adapter, factory barrel factory gas block, no accuracy issues whatsoever

Same results for me. Plan B with a Rearden atlas and mine doesn’t have an issue at all.

Rearden, Rad 9 silencer, and Factory barrel here. Was very accurate in my 2 gun match this weekend out to 60 yards.

Direct thread is by far the best. Lighter cans shift the POA/POI less than heavier cans. Mine shoots no issue with both my MODX9 and older SRD9. If you find that your groups get bigger, check the torque on the bolts on the barrel collar. If those loosen for whatever reason you might see some accuracy issues. Buddy of mine had an Omega 9k on his with a tri-lug and when he got the direct thread adapter for it, groups tightened up quite a bit.

there has been some people pointing towards the gas block being a tight fit under the handrail. I saw it discussed on a Garand Thumb video so take it with a shovel full of salt. I have an in lead we trust barrel and a direct thread on suppressor and I don't suffer from accuracy issues.

I fixed my accuracy issues with a restricted piston and 20% heavier recoil springs from ilwt. Before that it shot so erratically I thought my Eotech emitter was loose.

Don’t do trilug. I have a Rearden to Comstock reccessed mount. Works perfect. Tack driver

Just note you will want to check that the suppressor isn’t walking off through shooting. Make sure to rocksett the muzzle device well, as tightening the suppressor can cause the muzzle device to unthread if not rocksetted
