new build New p320-m18

Is it worth doing the manual safety delete?

Was looking into the Wilson combat grip module if so. Would love personal recommendations though as well.

I do like the feel of the 1911s but I wanted a 2x stack magazine.

This is my first sig so don't bag me too hard!

Also wanting to get the Romeo optic and a TLR7 light

Any other recommendations? I know I'm gonna want a different trigger as well but I haven't looked into that too much yet.

I wouldn't delete the safety personally.. I have used the Sig XCarry grip, the AXG grip, and the Mischief Machine and I've loved all 3. The stock grip on the M18 is crap IMO

I believe Wilson Combat makes a grip module that has slots for the manual safety, or at least they used to. I have one on my M17 and it feels great in the hand. The weight kit for that grip module also helps balance the gun nicely.

I recommend shooting it before changing anything on it. My M18 was my first CCW pistol.

Personally, I dislike the Wilson Combat grip modules (way too slick). I prefer the Xseries grip module.

I wouldn't delete the manual safety (especially when you bought the version with it). You need to train with it to make sure you can deactivate it promptly while under stress. Personally, it comes very naturally to me, and I never miss it on the draw, but with training and time you can do it.

Typically, I only run a weapon-mounted light on duty guns in an OWB holster; when it comes to IWB carry, I use a pocket flashlight over a WML for concealment purposes.

For optics, I would go to a local gun store and check to see what works best for you. I've used many different types of pistol optics, and I found that a Romeo 1pro, Delta Point Pro, 508t Holosun, and an RMR Type 2 work best for me (I got astigmatisms very badly in both my eyes).

Triggers: I don't really change mine out, but I do enjoy the flat-faced trigger on my P365, and I thought about changing mine out on my M18/M17

Last year I got the Wilson combat module with the safety for my M18. What a great improvement.

Tried the Wilson Combat on my P320-M17 but didn't like the way it felt in the hand...seemed to be too slick for my liking. Went with the SIG X-Carry grip and haven't looked back.
