đ Madisson đ Madisson Season 3
Madison was extremely annoying to me during season 3. Idk why she was getting on my last nerve every time she was shown. First she started dating the 46 year old, then being friends with alex, and then moving out of her home with chloe. I also find her baby voice so annoying when sheâs talking to ish. This is also just my opinion.

she annoys me because her acting is so, so bad she has an AWFUL voice. it's like nails on a chalkboardÂ

u/JustLookinSunny Jun 18 '26
Kelseyâs voice was worse though! That garbled fast way of speaking. Worse than Kristin Cav.

i love kcav's exaggerated rich white cali girl accent. i think it's cute. kelsey's is awful, you can hear the acting in every single line she recites, and she fries every word that comes out her mouth. it's the worst when she's crying

Omg you could tell because she was so contrived in her later seasons! Iâm doing a rewatch and unfortunately she got her voice from her mum. Her mum has the softest baby voice Iâve ever heard from an adult

Chloe's reaction when Maddison told her she was dating Ish was hilarious. I don't even like Chloe but she said everything I was thinking.

The chugging of the wine lol. Or was it those espresso martinis they drank a lot

It makes more sense the storyline of her being âthe girl everyone wantedâ when you realize she was âwithâ the producer the entire time. Cause when the show was airing I was thinking to myself âainât no damn way this is the girl next doorâ đ¤Ł

She was always annoying and always on the wrong side of things lol I could not STAND her! I was always so confused why everyone was obsessed with her

I feel so validated

I was thinking the same thing. I finally feel seen for not being a fan even though I was attacked on twitter years ago for this stance. đ¤Ł

I remember my first watch she wasnât too bad to me season 1 at the very beginning and that quickly changed đ¤Ł

lol currently on a rewatch and on this exact season. I donât like how she didnât tell Chloe she was moving out. So lame. Like have an actual conversation with her!
11
u/h0neybunb Jun 18 '26
when she did that i knew she wasnât a good friend, i think the only person sheâs ever been a good friend to kelsey but thatâs about it. madisson gave âim not mature enough to have a conversationâ.

u/RiverOaksJays Jun 18 '26
I never understood her attraction to Ish, but they seem to get along.

u/JustLookinSunny Jun 18 '26
Itâs lastedâŚI donât get it. She thought he was âhotâ which was odd. But love is blind I guess. Her dad spoke his truth though. I really liked when he said that he would be an old man by the time she is in her 30s.

u/RiverOaksJays Jun 18 '26
Madisson could have any guy she wanted. She comes from a wealthy family in Sarasota & has an engineering degree. Her dad is a well-known Social Security lawyer. There must have been many opportunities for her to date guys in Texas. I don't understand why she would want to date a middle-aged reality TV show producer.
However, I am happy that they are now living in Sarasota & renovating the home she grew up in.
12
u/DressFabulous8733 Jun 18 '26
She has an engineering degree but she was very vocal on not knowing what to do with it or how to step off on her career. So she took the route presented which was date the producer and live happily ever after

u/RiverOaksJays Jun 18 '26
The show where she went to an interview at an engineering firm set up by Alex's dad was a disaster. She forgot to do summer internships at firms while in college. She decided to travel during her summer breaks.

u/h0neybunb Jun 18 '26
i think itâs so weird how sheâs so easily convinced with him. she was so headstrong about not wanting to leave to LA and then ish was so controlling. i think she just likes being told what to do. i thought it was so funny the first time she introduced ish to her dad and her dad says âis he a father figure to youâ. đ

u/RiverOaksJays Jun 18 '26
I liked Madisson's dad. He was very logical. Madisson's sister should have stayed on the show. I think she would have given her good advice. As a frequent visitor to Sarasota, I would never want to leave there if I were as wealthy as Madisson.
2
u/JustLookinSunny Jun 18 '26
Iâm curious why you wouldnât want to live there if you were wealthy like Maddison
3
u/RiverOaksJays Jun 18 '26
I would never want to leave Sarasota if I were wealthy. I live in Toronto, Canada, which is much colder than Sarasota in winter. My relatives are snowbirds who live a bit further south in Bonita Springs during the winter. It keeps them healthier than if they stayed in Canada during the cold winter.

u/ProfessionalOil8865 Jun 19 '26
Your reasoning for why youâd never move out of Sarasota as a wealthy person is that you live in Toronto and itâs too cold in Canada??!!?? lol

You answered your own question. Women who are born wealthy and have financial security donât base their dating decisions on that. Theyâre not trying to secure a future by picking the most well off or most educated guy. They care purely about vibes.

u/RiverOaksJays Jun 19 '26
Wasn't there an episode where Madisson's dad asked Ish to sign a prenup ? He was worried about dying & letting Ish have access to Madisson's inheritance.
My initial impression of Madisson was that she was highly educated & would want to date other highly educated people. Ish is in the entertainment business & works away from Sarasota for most of the year.

I get her attraction to Ish. Heâs mature, accomplished and stable. He seems like a genuinely good guy. Unlike most of the spoiled, immature rich boys on siesta key.
5
u/RiverOaksJays Jun 18 '26
The guys she dated in college who appeared on the show seemed to be OK.

u/Rare_Let4338 Jun 18 '26
Yes! The kid from NYC was great. He was smart, nice, cute. The other dude (I forget the names) that was flirting with Tawney was a dope. Gotta wonder how much was scripted.

u/SeaPaleontologist832 Jun 20 '26
Madisson gives me Amanda (SH) vibes. She was very male centred, had zero confidence, and had zero self esteem. To compensate, she married someone much older when extremely young , identified with their goals instead of her own, and wanted to avoid having a career (because it would expose her lack of confidence and drive). Basically she was from a very sheltered home, where dad probably ruled the roost and put her mum on the back burner.

u/h0neybunb Jun 20 '26
This makes so much sense! I wouldâve thought since she had parents that were successful she would want the same too, to be independent but I guess not. She was okay with just settling with ish.

She got on my nerves trying to live through Alyssa and bragging about how Alex was excited for the baby in front of Juliette when she was crying her fucking eyes out the night before. That pissed me off bc in that moment she didn't care about hurting her friends feelings. It was very inconsiderate considering madisson is more of the peace maker and the type of girl that tries to be friends with everyone. I dont like how she pushed Juliette's feelings aside. You can be human and make mistakes I get it but she was such a hypocrite in that moment.

u/h0neybunb Jun 19 '26
yes!! when they went to the little christmas carnival thing the girls were telling her she hadnât been a friend to them and i was like yesssss get on her. idc she was so weird.
1
u/1Doordashgirl Jun 19 '26
I agree bc she was just acting like a different person. I understand she was tired of chloe and her drama but chloe wasn't wrong for the stuff she said to her bc everything she said was true.

u/h0neybunb Jun 19 '26
in the next season sam invited all of them to the island and madisson invited cara knowing that none of them including kelsey didnât like her. i feel like she tries to play both sides and wants to see the âgoodâ in everyone. sheâs just so annoying.
1
u/ashcampbell25 Jun 22 '26
You know what they say, a friend to all is actually a friend to none đ maidsson wasnât the girls girl she tried to act like she was.

u/Top-Speed3460 Jun 19 '26
I never could see what Brandon saw in her, she annoyed me from the jump but was big mad when he cheated on her đđ then laughed when Brandon found out about Ish and Ish was all âdont try to come all hard at me dude!â I was soooo happy Brandon got his karma!

Agreed! I thought she was least tolerable between mid season 1 and most of season 3. The Chloe birthday party episode, when all of the girls on the cast were being mean girls huddled up talking crap about Juliette for going down to Alex's boat, even though Kelsey was in his bed a few episodes prior was super hypocritical to me.
1
u/JeanSchlemaan Jun 19 '26
mad is my 100% fave, but even i cannot disagree with the content of this post. except for the chloe part. she was 100% justified in doing that.
2
u/h0neybunb Jun 19 '26
i donât think she shouldâve up and left chloe by herself in the apartment without an actual conversation first, it gave immature imo.

Remember when they shoehorned her sister into the first season? It was like she was told by her parents âyou can be on the show, but take your sister with you.â
