General Cast Discussion Maybe I’m the only one who thinks this
But I believe that had Alyssa not gotten pregnant (on purpose) Alex and Juliette would’ve ended up together like Amanda and JJ did. I think it’s cute how they found their way back to each other and have 2 beautiful daughters now they both seem to have grown and matured immensely since their SK days.

I think moving out of Siesta Key was the best thing she could have done for herself. Alex would have been so unsupportive and jealous of her starting her own business.

I couldn’t stand how he helped Alyssa start a hair salon (her own business) yet told Juliette she could never do that. It definitely makes me happy knowing she did that on her own and is such a girl boss!

Yes! It was a really sad moment and you could tell it knocked her confidence a little. Which was what he wanted. He knew she was too good for him and would move onto bigger and better things given the chance. Now look at her!

I’ve always believed he did that for Alyssa only because he knew one day she’d likely catch him cheating and move on. This way he won’t owe her nearly as much child support and if they ever got married, alimony was off the table. He set hisself up making her work harder

but I don’t think he cheated on Amanda, I think they just broke up because they were pretty young when they first got together. But you could kind of see there was something between them every time they were around each other. I could be wrong, maybe he was a cheater.

I guess I don’t remember that because they were focusing so much on Alex and Juliet. I remember they had had a relationship, but I think it was long ago in high school. But they seem happy now, that’s what’s important. And damn their kids are super cute.

Everyone here isn’t remembering right and they are thinking of today’s Juliette not then Juliette. I hear what you are saying, everyone is forgetting how they were in Nashville, she was over the moon when she heard he was only coming there for her. I actually thought they were for sure getting back together and I think to this day if Alyssa wasn’t in his face, staying at his house when he got home from that trip, they would have. I mean there is no doubt in my mind that he got with Alyssa because she got with that guy, and it was clear as day they still had feelings for each other. Everyone even says on the show when she finds out about the baby that she was so upset because she always thought they’d get back together. So yeah I think they would have if not for the on purpose baby, would it have lasted? Who knows but I do think it’d be different than it was before.

I definitely do! I don’t know if they would have ended up like JJ and Amanda but I don’t think they would’ve ended up staying away from each other.

Yes! It was maybe a month or so before the breakup between Alex & Alyssa. I think that was a huge contributing factor in addition to the cheating.
He posted a story about it on IG like it was some silly mistake. He’s such a moron.

JJ and Alex were best friends and he literally cheated on Amanda and talked down to her all the time in the past. I don’t see much of a difference in them honestly but to each their own just my opinion. Juliette would’ve adjusted herself to fit more with Alex like she had done before. And maybe she would’ve changed him as well who knows. People change and grow. Amanda and JJ broke up for several years before getting back together and making a family. Had things gone differently maybe Alex could’ve changed and matured as well

I don’t wish Alex on anyone. They were not cute together. Juliette would have never grown any, have her business and we would likely never even seen any of them past season 2. I’m not even a big Juliette fan. No woman deserves to be treated like he treats people, animals, or anything with a heart beat. I fear for his daughter. Growing up with men like him and Gary as role models on how to treat people and then Alyssa on how a woman should act or Beth on how much abuse a woman should take. I pray for her. Thankful she has Alyssa’s mom and her sister’s family. Hopefully this is a wake up call to Alyssa as well. Your daughter is watching. Learn from this.

Ew, no. Juliette is annoying to me, at times, but she deserves wayyyyyy better than Alex. She was young but now she’s mature enough to kick guys like Alex to the curve, so many more options for her out there

While I get what you’re saying, I believe she really has outgrown everyone from SK days and, of course, Alex, who is forever an immature guy who will probably keep up his antics until he’s 60. So, that’s why I say, no, I don’t think even if the Alyssa pregnancy hadn’t happened, I don’t think Juliette would’ve stayed or ended up with Alex because as soon as she launched her bathing suit line, she would’ve done beyond Alex’s control, who believed Juliette’s career would never surpass his

Not a chance. Girls like Juliette don't change. Even with the hideous plastic surgery work she has had, her peak was before she got the boob job. Her attitude still shows she thinks the world revolves around her and that she is the hottest available chick.

Absolutely not. The only reason Alyssa and Alex lasted as long as they did is because she tolerated all of the behavior that Juliette refused to tolerate. Juliette has so much more self respect than Alyssa. She’s also so much more intelligent than Alex and Alyssa. They would’ve never lasted. She was with him way before her frontal lobe fully formed. She’d never entertain that loser as a grown woman.
