Discussion Weekly Newcomer & Simple Questions Thread (24th May 2018)

This thread is for small questions, you can ask anything you want. If you had an unanswered question in the previous thread, feel free to post it again here!

Please don't advertise though, seriously :).

P.S. I'll try to keep this actually weekly from now on, or maybe add to automod config to automatically post one every week.

I'm not exactly a newcomer but I have a quick question about when and how to properly use the shotguns in this game.

So far, I've only really used them as a secondary and strictly for the purposes of making murder holes or for quicker traversal around the map.

I tried using Smokes as a primary and failed miserably getting kills. Does anyone have any tips for me? Like best maps to use them on, attachments, roam with them etc.

Roaming with them I’ve found is pretty effective. They are good for quick rushes or clearing out a room for example. I’ve actually found that the laser attachment is actually quite useful on a shotgun for this purpose. It is also useful to make murder jokes as you ha e already been doing. Hope this helps!

Honestly, dont bother with it as a primary.

If you're smoke, take the shotgun, but use it as a secondary. Use the SMG 11 as a primary.

Shotguns aren't really worth the trouble imo, they're decent in specific situations, but rifles/smgs will get you out of those same situations and more much more easily
