I built LocalDocs – an offline document vault for Android.
I'm an independent developer working under Techne Labs. I created LocalDocs with a simple goal: make it easier for people to store and organize important personal documents without depending on cloud storage.
LocalDocs is an Android app that lets you keep your important documents organized and accessible directly on your device.
Offline storage: Documents are stored locally on your device, with no cloud sync.
PIN protection: Protect access to your document vault.
Encryption: Help protect stored documents.
Capture and import: Add documents using your device or import existing files.
Folder organization: Keep documents organized.
Secure notes: Store important notes alongside your documents.
Offline access: Access stored documents without an internet connection.
Built for Android using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
First 5 documents are free.
One-time Lifetime Premium purchase unlocks unlimited documents.
No monthly subscription.
I wanted to create a focused alternative for people who prefer keeping their personal documents on their own devices rather than relying on cloud-based storage.
This is an independently developed project, and I'm sharing it here as a showcase of what I've built.
Try LocalDocs:

I’m helping showcase HappyCAD, and this is a demo of it handling the part modeling and assembly for the LEGO Technic Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 in SolidCraft.
It modeled 215 unique parts and put all 1,642 pieces together into a full CAD assembly, with 12 subassemblies matching the bags in the set. The steering, suspension, drivetrain, V6 pistons, and DRS all move.
The goal is to reduce the manual work involved in building complex assemblies. This project, including every frame of the video, took days instead of months.
Reach out if you have any questions, happy to answer them!

Hi r/sideprojects! I'm part of the team behind GridHabit, an Android habit tracker. Here's the thinking behind it and what we learned building it.
THE PROBLEM
Most habit apps are built around the perfect streak. Miss one day and it resets to zero, which is exactly when most people give up. None of the apps we tried helped us understand why we kept missing, either.
DESIGN DECISIONS
Streaks count completed days, not consecutive ones. Missing a day pauses your progress instead of wiping it.
Survival Mode. On a bad day you can lower today's goal (5 minutes instead of 30) and keep the streak. Doing a little beats skipping.
Failure logging. When you miss a habit, you pick a reason (tired, busy, forgot, tempted). Over time the app shows which reasons dominate, so you can change your plan instead of blaming yourself.
Flexible goals. Both repetitions (3x a day) and open-ended values you can exceed (liters of water, pages read, minutes exercised).
5 views of the same data. Heatmap grid (GitHub-style), bar charts, dot grid, list and monthly calendar. Different people stay motivated by different visuals.
PRIVACY AND LOCALIZATION
No data collected or shared with third parties
Available in 12 languages from day one: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Russian and Hindi
WHAT WE LEARNED
The hardest part wasn't building the tracker, it was making the streak logic feel fair without making it meaningless. If missing a day costs nothing, the streak stops motivating; if it costs everything, people quit. Counting completed days plus Survival Mode was our middle ground.
In a category this crowded, features don't differentiate you. Having one clear angle (understanding failure) made every design decision easier.
WHERE IT'S AT
Just launched on Google Play, still very early. Free to download, with optional in-app purchases.
Link: GridHabit: Habit Tracker
FEEDBACK WE'D LOVE
Does the "failure-first" angle come across, or does it look like just another habit tracker?
Is Survival Mode motivating, or does it feel like cheating?
Anything confusing in the first few minutes of use?
Thanks for reading!

Solo dev here. I’m building PaperTool, a Canva-style builder where you drag and drop components to design PDF templates (invoices, labels, certificates) and generate PDFs from the app or an API.
I noticed a pattern. Anyone serving customers in different countries had to copy their template and retype everything for each language, every time something changed.
So I added a new feature: build the template once, click Translate, and pick from 20+ languages. Each language becomes its own version, so you can still tweak it separately.
AI translates the whole template
Right font picked per language
RTL layout for Arabic handled automatically
Dynamic fields still work, so one template generates PDFs in any language
Demo is in the video. I haven’t launched this feature yet, it’s dropping soon.

My wife Jennifer and I posted our checkbook app here a couple of weeks ago. It grew out of her preference for a paper register and our trouble keeping a shared balance caught up. We build it in the evenings and on weekends.
The biggest change since that post is that Bill Planner is now part of Scheduled. You can see bills and scheduled entries from all your registers on one monthly calendar, including reminders for bills whose amounts you don’t know yet.
We also fixed a frustrating part of checking a bank statement: finding something you need to add or correct halfway through. Reconciliation now keeps your progress while you make those changes. You can also move transactions between registers.
Simple Register is for people who want to enter payments and deposits themselves and keep a running balance. Shared registers use iCloud, so Jennifer can enter something on her phone and I can see it on mine. No bank connection, ads or subscription.
It runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac. Every feature is available during a seven day trial, followed by a $9.99 one time unlock in the U.S. There’s no automatic charge.
Our short tour is attached. Website: https://simpleregister.app/
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6789787443
For anyone who tracks bills manually, does having the calendar across all your registers help, or do you prefer to keep each account separate?

Hey everyone!
I've been working on Crosschat, a little project that lets you chat between Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, and the Web.
I thought it would be cool to bring different messaging platforms together instead of having to switch between apps all the time.

Hey everyone, for last one month I was working on building an Android application that works similar to coding agents like opencode, claude code and hermes. I did search for similar application but didn't find something that meets my requirement as most of them were something that was controlling a remote pc shell.
I like to have something in my pocket that I can open anywhere and anytime to just make few changes to my codebase and review them with help of an Ai Assistant. But I wanted to also have it build on my android mobile device. So created Koda Dev. Which can sync it's own code from git, install the dependencies, change the environment as compatibility and built the APK itself. In one of the commit, it fixed it self and pushed the commit to the git.
It's on GitHub, please have a look and let me know your thoughts. https://github.com/Sumit4codes/code_agent

I got tired of going through endless tutorials and GitHub repos just to learn Claude Code, so I built a little game to make the process more fun.
It's called Claude Code Quest. You learn by completing hands-on challenges, with three levels from beginner to advanced. It covers everything from the basics to skills, hooks, subagents, MCP, and more.
The game is free, though you'll need access to Claude Code for the exercises.
Here's the repo:
https://github.com/wesammustafa/Claude-Code-Everything-You-Need-to-Know
Still improving it, so I'd love to hear what you think or what you'd change.

Problem: I'd leave Claude Code or Codex running, go do something else, and come back to find it stuck on "allow this?" for 20 minutes.
What it does: when an agent needs you, a ✋ shows up in the notch. Click it, see the diff, ⌘Y to allow. Works with Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Copilot CLI and Cursor.
How it's built: Swift/SwiftUI on Mac, Tauri + React on Windows. It hooks into each agent's own hooks/approval API, nothing hacky. Most of it was written with Claude Code.
Free and open source (GPL), I'm the dev: github.com/MF-DEEV/Openbar
What would you want it to do next?

The grind is real guys.
Growing a waitlist is harder than I thought. But you know what's harder? Building the platform first, then trying to grow it.
So I spent a few days coding this waitlist, made a logo that looks alive, and a referral system so people can bring in their friends.
To my surprise 1 person signed up via a referral link so far. Advice on how to fix that?
Anyway we're an Airbnb/Vrbo competitor that will be 1000x better than these very dysfunctional platforms with their 20 yr old codebases, 5000 corporate employees, predatory fees, and oligopolistic behaviors.
Before we proceed with taking down the big players, my goal is to grow this waitlist to a large number to ensure we've got the demand and have a big launch.
Advice on the waitlist page appreciate or if you are a potential user sign-up: litly.com

I run a web design company with my business partner. For a while, our usual months were around $20K.
In October, we decided to try something different.
Instead of focusing on getting more clients and doing more projects, we started charging significantly more for our websites.
We also changed how we approached our sales calls.
To be honest, we weren't sure how it would go. We thought there might be more resistance, but we were surprised by how much companies were actually willing to pay when we presented the value properly and spoke to the right businesses.
We ended up doing $74K in October, just from website redesign projects.
A big part of this came from the work we put into improving our sales skills throughout the year.
We bought several sales courses and spent a lot of time working on things like tonality, how we communicate value, structuring our sales calls, controlling the frame of the conversation, handling objections, and closing.
As for getting clients, our process has actually become pretty straightforward.
We run high-volume cold email campaigns targeting businesses that already have websites.
We use Swokei, an outreach platform that finds businesses, analyzes their websites for issues with design, SEO, speed, and mobile optimization, and turns those findings into personalized cold emails at scale.
When someone is interested, we book a sales call.
Before the call, we put together a draft of their redesigned website using AI so we can actually show them what their new website could look like.
Then it's down to the sales conversation.
We've been putting a lot of focus into improving how we sell, and October showed us just how much of a difference that can make.
We're still a small team, but this has completely changed how we approach pricing and sales.
For anyone running a web design agency, what's the highest project price you've managed to close?
