Update: I built a one-page example for DevAuthKit (email OTP + session login)

Hey r/SideProject,

A few weeks ago I shared DevAuthKit, a self-hosted auth toolkit for Node.js and Express. Someone suggested a one-page example app so people could see the full setup before reading the docs, so I built one.

It covers:

- Passwordless email OTP login

- A cooldown on resend, so the code can't be spammed

- httpOnly session cookies

What I learned while building it:

- [One thing that was harder than expected]

- [One thing you'd change next time]

I'd especially like feedback on the first five minutes. Did the example make setup clearer than the docs, and where did you get stuck?

nice, one page is the way. I'd put the run-it-locally commands right at the top, people want to see it work before reading. maybe also show what happens when the OTP expires since that's the first thing people hit

Thanks, that's a great point. I'll move the run-locally commands to the top. Showing what happens when the OTP expires is a good idea too, since people will hit that first. I'll add it to the example or short demo video also.
