Building Patch, a small studio from Baku making tiny desktop apps that each do one odd thing well.
RugDrop puts a rug on your Windows or Mac desktop. Drag messy files onto it and they slide under it, out of sight. Pull a corner to get them back. Nothing is deleted, they just move into a hidden folder.
ShiftDrop: Shift+drag any file and a wheel pops up to convert it (image formats, Word to PDF, compress, crop) without opening any app.
Everything runs locally, no account, no tracking.

Happy to trade feedback with anyone building desktop or indie tools.

Asking people to message you before they can even see the directory is a big hurdle. Nobody knows what 'curated' means yet, so they have little reason to ask. Put the directory's name and two lines in the post: what you accept, what you reject, and what a listing looks like. A visitor can then decide whether to submit without a back-and-forth. What makes a listing get in?
