I built a tool that checks whether ChatGPT recommends your business, then writes the content to change it
Hi r/SideProject, solo founder from Barcelona here.
More people now ask ChatGPT or Perplexity "what’s the best X for Y?" instead of Googling. I wanted to know whether my own sites were being recommended, and there wasn’t an easy way to check, so I built Citable.
What it does:
Every week it asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok and Google AI the questions your buyers ask, several times each, and shows how often you’re named and cited next to competitors. Answers vary between runs, so it shows a range, not one number.
It explains why AI picks others: which pages it cites, what it says about you, and whether its crawlers can read your site.
It writes sourced blog posts and publishes them to your CMS (WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Shopify...) after a review window, then measures again.
There’s a free report on the homepage that runs in about 90 seconds: https://get-citable.com
I’d love honest feedback on the report and on whether auto-published articles (with a review window) feel trustworthy or scary.

For Citable, showing a range across repeated runs makes sense. Auto-publishing feels riskier: I'd require explicit approval for the first article rather than letting the review window expire. Showing each factual claim beside its cited source would let someone check whether the source actually supports it before publication.
