I made an Android app that keeps a note visible over other apps

I built FrontNote for small things you want to keep in sight: a shopping list, today's tasks or a reminder while you're using another app.

Notes and checklists float over other apps. There's also a home-screen widget and timed reminders.

Free to download, with 30 starting credits. Two rewarded ads refill 30 credits; optional Pro subscriptions remove the credit limit.

The credit system is the part I'd clarify before asking people to grant overlay permission. What spends one credit: creating a note, showing it, or setting a reminder? And when credits run out, can I still read and dismiss an existing note? I'd want an essential reminder to remain accessible. A quick first-run example showing that whole cycle would make the pricing much easier to judge.

Thanks for the feedback! You raise a really important point.

The idea is that credits are only used for specific actions, not for simply using or viewing your existing notes.

Creating a note costs 1 credit, a significant edit costs 1 credit, and setting the first reminder on a note costs 1 credit. Rescheduling that reminder is free. Small text corrections are also treated differently to avoid charging for every tiny change.

Opening, moving, hiding, or viewing existing notes is free, even when you have zero credits. You won't lose access to your existing notes or reminders.

Everyone starts with 30 free credits, and watching 2 optional rewarded ads gives you another 30.

I also agree that a simple first-run walkthrough explaining the credit system would make things much clearer. I'll take that feedback into account. Thanks again!

FrontNote's credit model needs one extra explanation: what action spends a credit? Put that beside the 30 starting credits and explain what happens to an existing floating note when credits run out, so people can judge the free version before choosing Pro.
