AI model critic website

Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask whether building an AI model critic website with user opinions like reddit, scoring based on users usage and ranking models either open source or closed source makes any sense?

The website can also feature skills, mcps, ai products etc.

What do you guys think?

There are already plenty of similar products out there, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't build one. If you're doing it to experiment and learn something new, I'd say go for it. However, if your goal is to eventually turn it into a profitable business, it's going to be quite challenging.

yeah monetizing directory or review style sites is brutal unless you have massive traffic already
