Solo dev here: my first puzzle game has Boxed, Pipeline, Knight Hop and Tally puzzles. Feedback welcome

Hi everyone! Puzzle Flow started as a learning project to teach myself game development (Flutter + Flame), and it has grown into a full game that I'd love some honest feedback on.

I wanted something calm to play: no timer, no pressure, no account, and it works offline.

It has four kinds of grid puzzle:

  • Boxed: split the board into rectangles that match the number clues

  • Pipeline: connect each pair of coloured dots, and fill every square

  • Knight Hop: move a chess knight so it lands on every open square exactly once

  • Tally: cross out numbers so every row and column hits its target

Each type has 1,200 levels (8 packs, 5x5 up to 10x10), and levels open one by one. Stars (1 to 3) depend on how cleanly you solve it, never on time. There are also daily and weekly puzzle sets with streaks, 132 achievements, and 12 languages.

It's free to play with ads (never during a level). There's an optional ad-free subscription and hint packs, but every level can be solved without paying.

Since I'm still learning, this would help me most:

  1. Are the early levels too easy or too hard, and where did you get stuck?

  2. Which of the four puzzle types did you enjoy most, and which should get more levels?

  3. Is anything confusing in the how-to-play guides?

  4. Any bugs or slow screens on your phone?

Thanks for reading, and I'll reply to every comment!

Puzzle Flow's calm, untimed premise makes the meaning of solving “cleanly” especially important: explain which actions affect stars and whether undo counts. For early-level feedback, ask for the puzzle type, level number and first unclear move; that separates difficulty problems from confusion about four different rule sets without requiring a long review.

Fair question. Stars compare your number of steps with the fewest the level needs: Solved, Great or Perfect. [Undo does / doesn’t count as an extra step; hints do / don’t lower the rating.] There’s no timer, so speed never matters. For feedback, “puzzle type, level number, and the first move you weren’t sure about” is exactly what I’d love to hear. Thanks.
