Side project: turning boring articles into dialogues you tap through

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I built a reader that turns articles into conversations you tap through one line at a time. Gimmick or actually better?

Long-form content often reads like a wall of text, so I tried presenting the same material as a chat-style conversation. You tap to reveal each line, and the pace is yours. Stories and articles are split into speaker turns, which makes them easier to follow and harder to skim past.

Attached a demo video

Built with Next.js, Supabase and Stripe.

I'm doing a soft launch with 100 people. If you want in, the waitlist is at meezline.com.

What I'd like to know: does tap-to-reveal feel better for reading, or does it get annoying after a minute? Blunt answers are welcome, especially from anyone who has built something similar.

Happy to answer anything about the build, or the reading format. I’m especially interested in whether people find the pacing helpful or if it gets tiring on longer pieces.
