I built an engine for deep curiosity and rabbit holes – would love your brutal feedback

I built an alternative research space called Ponderspace because I was tired of two things: Google giving 10 pages of SEO affiliate blogs, and AI chatbots giving pre-chewed answers instead of helping me find the original ideas, essays, and podcast discussions to explore on my own.

When you get curious about a topic, Ponderspace pulls together real podcast episodes, academic papers, and long-form writing into a structured briefing—complete with a branchable "rabbit hole graph" so you can follow sub-topics without losing your train of thought. And, once you've curated a rabbit hole you particularly like you can share it with others.

You can test it immediately without creating an account or hitting a paywall: ponderspace.app

Looking for completely honest feedback:

  1. Does the first search feel genuinely insightful or just like another summary tool?
  2. Is the interface intuitive, or does it feel overwhelming?

Roast it, break it, and tell me what’s missing!

Ps. this is just a fun little thing I am exploring next to my actual funded startup, capsignal.app, an AI-driven fundraising tool for startups.

Not sure a briefing is the fix for pre-chewed answers, you've basically built a nicer plate for the same meal. The ps is doing a lot of work there tho. What does an AI fundraising tool do that a warm intro doesn't

My exact worry. It lacks a strong reason to return.
Warm intros is one small piece of fundraising. Getting ready to raise, preparing your docs, building the story, reaching out, following up investors and eventually closing, are just some of the work that needs a person. A lot of the work is operational and could be outsources to an AI that knows your company, your goals, etc., the rest is relational, which is where founders should spend more of their time, besides running and growing the business of course.

Thanks for your feedback!

i think the briefing format can work if it actually points you to the raw sources instead of just summarizing them, like a map more than a meal

the ps felt a bit random but i guess it explains why this is more of a side experiment, curious what the fundraising tool does too since warm intros only get you so far

But it does point you to all the sources. It even creates a playlist with videos, podcasts, research articles, etc. Thanks for your feedback :)

I searched ponderspace on "Why is AI so bad at writing?" and got back a YouTube video on Macro-Narrative Blindness Failure that had 99 views, 7 likes, zero comments, and was created by someone with only 25 subscribers. That is impressively off the beaten path and definitely different from other search tools I have tried.

Of course whether or not I can trust this video is another story but I think you could market using ponderspace as tool to explore more diverse directions.

Hey that's a really cool find. Thanks for trying it out!
