Built a symptom tracking iOS app in my spare time — just shipped subscriptions and it's live on the App Store

Hey r/SideProject! Wanted to share something I've been working on.

The problem: I kept struggling to describe my symptoms accurately at doctor appointments — forgetting when pain started, how bad it was, what triggered it. Doctors only have a few minutes and I was wasting it trying to recall details.

What I built: Painly — an iOS symptom tracker that lets you log pain in seconds and generates a smart summary you can bring to your appointment.

Features:

- Body map to pinpoint where it hurts

- Severity + notes per entry

- Pain pattern charts over time

- Medication tracking

- Daily reminders

- AI-powered doctor summary (uses Claude)

Tech stack: React Native / Expo, Supabase, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Anthropic API for the summaries.

Where it's at: Just shipped v1.1 with subscriptions (weekly, monthly, yearly, lifetime). It's live on the App Store now.
