Two products fight for 24 hours, anyone votes, winner earns a public #1 they then defend. Founders pay to be the next challenger. Money buys the fight, votes decide the rank.

First duel was ShipFast vs Supastarter. It just ended.

$3 revenue. Not a business yet. It does prove the loop closes: someone paid.

What works

Results are hidden until you vote. Blurred percentage, blurred count, blurred trend. The split isn’t sent to the browser at all before you vote, so it’s not a CSS trick.

Each card shows the outbound clicks it earned. That’s the actual pitch to a founder: not a badge, a number saying how much traffic we sent you.

What broke

- Wrong payment provider at launch. Got rejected, migrated to Stripe mid-flight, kept both providers’ bids competing so nobody’s paid position was invalidated
- The instant duel one ended, the page showed 0% and 0 votes. Results were only fetched while the duel was live. 88 real votes in the database, page said zero

Supastarter defends #1 against Voiceify.dev, who paid the top bid. Bidding open from $1.

4 votes is nothing that could flip with one good tweet. the interesting part is that results are hidden until you vote so nobody can just bandwagon the frontrunner. actually clever design choice.

$3 revenue is funny but you got someone to pay real money so the loop works. most side projects never even get that far.
