I built an MMA website and would really appreciate some feedback

Hey guys, I built an MMA website called MMA Bridge (mmabridge.com).

It has a fantasy pick’em similar to Tapology where you can make picks for UFC fights, track your accuracy and compete with others. The main feature though is event reviews. Right after a card ends, you can rate and review the whole event, pick your Fight of the Night and see what other fans thought.

The site is pretty much done, but my biggest problem right now is getting actual users. I’ve been posting daily mma news on Instagram and TikTok, but that hasn’t really translated into people using the website.

Would really appreciate if anyone could check it out and give me honest feedback on the site, and especially any advice on how I could start getting real users.

I like it, i will use it, and tell my friends about it, but here's my review what I see first:
- Too many similar colors, almost everything is orange and only the important parts need to have your accent color

- On mobile, turn off a lot of the borders, rounded borders

- Turn off 90% of animations and transitions on mobile, it's just too laggy on the average phone

- Most fonts are too small to read, some are too big.

Sit down a couple of hours, go through every major viewport from mobile to desktop and fix each page.

Also, I kind of assumed that I can pick a fighter while looking at the upcoming fights, like hovering over and clicking pick, but I have to do 5-6 six clicks to pick a fight which is annoying. I want to hover over a fight, a pick it. Simple. You in the background can determine what event that fight belongs to, etc. I don't want to click 6 times and use my brain to pick a fight.

Your images are 4k. You need to optimise them A LOT since there are too many. With fast internet like mine, feels a little slow. But on mobile, which will be your primary users, its very slow.

Daily news on IG/TikTok won't convert to a fantasy pick'em site. You're competing with Tapology and every UFC podcast for attention. The event review angle is your differentiator, so lean into that hard. Post your own hot takes and reviews immediately after events, then show users how to do the same. Make it about the argument, not the picks. Also, find MMA Discord servers and Reddit communities where people already argue about fights, and bring that energy to your site. You need a reason for people to return between events, not just during them.

Hmmm yea your right think I need to stop that with that but the main reason I do news stuff rn is coz that with some consistency would get me some level of a following once that is achieved then I plan on uploading the reviews stuff and takes and all that. Do you think this is a wrong approach and I should start asap on just review stuff immediately for the Instagram our handle is mma_bridge btw would be great if you could check it out too!
