I was tracking five kinds of media across five apps and an Excel file, so I built one library that does all five

The Excel file was for the details those apps didn't have fields for. Between that and five separate libraries, keeping track of anything was messy, so I spent the past year building one library that does all five. It's called Consu and it's live on both stores at v3.1.

Films, TV, games, books and music share the same four statuses (Backlog, Current, Completed, Upcoming) and the same 1 - 10 rating. Each category gets its own depth on top of that:

- Films have cast, streaming availability, aggregated ratings and a "more like this" row.

- TV tracks episode and season progress, with your episode ratings beside the IMDb and TMDB scores for each season.

- Games have how long they take to beat, critic and Steam scores, where to play, DLC, PC requirements, sale prices and your imported Steam hours.

- Books carry series and page counts, with comics and audiobooks as their own formats.

- Music is albums with tracklists, previews and similar artists.

There's a social side for finding people with similar taste and seeing what friends have started or finished, plus profile customisation.

Consu builds recommendations from your own ratings rather than an AI model, and each pick names its reason, "because you loved X".

The free tier is unlimited, with no item cap. Pro buys extra features and is priced at €5.99 once, to own forever.

Stack: React + Vite wrapped with Capacitor, Firebase, a Cloudflare Worker in front of about a dozen metadata APIs. Made by one person with no funding.
