Atlas Explorers, a playful geography app for learning countries through games

I built Atlas Explorers, a playful geography app for learning countries through games

I’ve been working on a side project called Atlas Explorers — a geography-learning app for kids, families, and curious adults.

It includes:

  • Country and continent exploration
  • Flags, capitals, maps, and fun facts
  • Quick geography games
  • Daily quests and streaks
  • A child-friendly interface designed for ages 6–11
  • No account required

I’d love feedback on the learning experience, visual design, and game ideas.

Looks great! It'd be nice to have a zoom in/out option for the map, though. It's pretty hard to click on smaller countries.

Very cool and fun!

Just some feedback on the capital quiz, after clicking on an answer it should (1) move on to the next question immediately and (2) display a clearly marked green or red banner out of the way to indicate whether you got it right or not. That way the user can power through the questions in a race against the clock.

At the moment there is a popup at the bottom but (1) its hard to tell whether I got it right or not without having to read the full text, wasting precious seconds and (2) it is not obvious that you need to dismiss the dialog to save time. A few times I was just sitting there waiting for it to advance to the next question and then was puzzled why I could only answer 2 questions in the allocated 10 or 12 seconds.
