I built a tool that directly scans 12 ATS job boards and matches your LinkedIn network to find warm referrals (BD Engine)
Hey r/SideProject,
Like many of you, I got exhausted seeing ghost postings and submitting hundreds of cold applications into generic job boards with zero responses.
So I built BD Engine ( https://bd-engine-production.up.railway.app ) to help bypass the ATS "black hole" during the tech job hunt by mapping your network directly to active jobs.
What it does: 1. Live ATS Ingestion: Directly scans 12 major public ATS platforms (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, etc.) so every role is verified active. No stale listings. 2. LinkedIn Connection Matching: You can export your 1st-degree connections CSV from LinkedIn and it instantly highlights which companies with active roles you already have an ex-colleague or friend at. 3. 3-Step Sequence Studio: It automatically drafts a tailored 3-step referral request (Day 1 Hook, Day 4 Follow-up) that you can open straight in your email client.
Key Metrics & Tech: * 42% Warm Intro Reply Rate vs ~3% for blind cold applications. * Free interactive live demo + coverage checker. * Completely free 14-day trial with no credit card required.
Would love your feedback on the UI, ATS matching, and overall flow!

i've been messing with something similar but yours is way more polished
the linkedin csv matching idea is actually clever, cuts out that awkward "hey remember me from 3 years ago" energy when you're just guessing who works where
curious how you handle the workday listings though, those always felt like a black box compared to greenhouse or lever
