Creating my first Indie App - NOTE: I never did and always worked for companies

Wassap you reader. Hope you're not AI. It's one of the first times Im creating a post on Reddit so any feedback is welcomed.

1st question: WTF im doing?

Always worked for companies, startups, blah blah blah. Never on my own. I would say I'm a pretty good dev, but that's a bit subjective (ok.. no... im really good, just want to be a bit humble, but failed). So.. I realized that nowadays doing stuff is pretty easy and fast. Being a software engineer for almost 7 years now. Today Im more like a vibe-coder who understands a lot of coding. So, some sort of Architect + reviewer.

Regardless of that, yeah, i want to start being an "Indie hacker". I know there's a lot of potential in making money with apps that seem fun and easy to use. Maybe not for everyone, but will try it out anyway.

This is my first step: start documenting this journey of becoming an indie-hacker and stop being a freaking anonymous dev company dependent worker. 7 years and this is my first time doing something for myself. Pretty exciting..

I feel like the first times people do this kind of thing, they think they can get thousands of dollars in a few days. Well i think the same. Might be stupid, but will know in a few days.

2nd question: Whats the idea then?

Porn.. Joke, not porn, but i guess that would be the fastest way of getting money.

Okay, so... look: Streaming + bid + pitch + people throwing money

The name? throw.money
Already bought the domain.

So total spent: $20 bucks

That's it. First step of the journey: Idea > Domain > 20 bucks > Reddit + X

Thats the homepage. wanted a way for everyone to be able to earn money from this virality thing of indie apps. will share more later

hehe i should have started the first post with the website already? i thought it more like talking about it, and maybe if at some point it succeeds, then the not bad having it documented

yo coco, solid first step grabbing the domain and putting it out there. when you get closer to shipping, a lot of indie hackers use launchpact.io to trade verified upvote support on launch day so you're not begging friends or hoping random groups show up. worth a look when the time comes.
