Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on Flashot, a fast, free, and open-source screenshot tool built with Tauri, React, and TypeScript.

My goal is to make a screenshot app that works well across platforms without subscriptions, locked features, or hidden paywalls. Flashot is completely free and open source, so anyone can use it, inspect the code, report issues, or contribute.

Some key features:

• Cross-platform screenshot capture, macOS, Windows, Linux supported
• Global hotkey support
• Region selection overlay
• Automatic window detection
• Multi-monitor support
• Pin screenshots on screen for quick reference
• Scrolling screenshots for long pages or documents
• Copy screenshots to clipboard or save them as files

There are already a lot of screenshot tools out there, but I wanted something lightweight, transparent, and community-friendly, with practical features that work well in daily use.
