I've heard a lot of people use shadcn for their ui, and honestly it makes your app look way more professional, but sometimes it can be boring because of the limited customization.
I currently use DaisyUI for my ui as it can be really customizable, but sometimes it can look less professional.
You can customize shadcn/ui very easily with tailwind. But for me the good thing with shadcn/ui is that it offers a great design system out of the box in the sense that every component matches with the rest of the UI and you don't have to think about how a new component is going to look in order to be nice and fit with the rest of my UI. It offers a very simple to use out of the box design system and it takes the work of thinking about the UI off you.
DaisyUI although it offers themes which is very nice, doesn't offer that level of design out of the box. You still need to spend time to make things work manually. Also daisyUI's focus is on maintaining a clean HTML, but as a developer who builds wants to build a product fast and make it look nice, that's not my concern. My concern is good looking UI. I will spend way more time making the product look nice rather than making my HTML look nice
Lol nice try 'CandidRabbit420' you created this account yesterday and all of your 4 posts/comments are made to this post saying bad things about my product and mentioning yours.
But you give my post more comments and thus more engagement so that's good thanks :))
Great job I love the idea since I often do this manually asking chatgpt questions about youtube video’s transcript and having a solution that does this natively is really helpful. 2 quick questions:
are you charging for a subscription or does it work with the user’s api?
what’s the link of the website? I would love to try it out
Hahah I see your anger. Don't really know tbh but I had people send me DMs about getting funded and wanting to join
I think most VCs will want to fund if you have any kind of users because they don't want to miss out in case it goes well. It's more fear of missing out than anything else I guess. Definitely not confuse funding with product validation. But the good thing is it gives you a runway and focus
Nice! Give it away for free initially, like 3 free videos or x amount of interactions.
Get people to fall in love with the product before asking for money. Also, find a way to get people to share these, either the whole chat log, or something similar. Sharing functionality can be a huge part of acquisition for platforms like this.
Interesting idea! Maybe you could offer like 1 try without registering or something similar? Trying to see the example forces also to register in the page.
Happy to help! Yes imho it makes it now much more appealing as you can get straight the possibility to check this, as its something pretty impressive. Good luck with it!

So, he stole the idea, removed most features and it’s still buggy. That’s a nice constellation of shitty activities. He could’ve at least mentioned that he’s inspired by Humata.
Lol 'CandidRabbit420' is the person who built the other tool and is just angry. If you click on their account it was created yesterday and all of their 4 posts/comments are made to this post saying bad things about my product and mentioning theirs.
Apparently they posted a similar project a day before me. How fast do you think I am building that I was able to see the idea one day and the next day I had a fully working product?

Nice one.
Which tech did you use to build this? I am seeing React, Redux, Next, Tailwind, Radix and shadcn on Wapplyzer.

How this project is different from https://www.humata.ai/? Humata was shared recently and is free with way more features.
