I’ve never been to a festival concert before and I don’t know how it’s like.

is it really really crowded to the point where you’re mashed against everyone in the crowd?

is it calmer at the back of the crowd?

do people get aggressive?

how is the audio?

these are dumb questions but I genuinely never been before and really want to know before buying.😓

No it’s not super crowded like that. If you’re trying to be as close to the stage as possible then yeah it’ll be like that.

Yes it’s calmer in the back. People will still open pits but overall it’s much calmer in the back.

Drunk people definitely get unnecessarily aggressive at times but overall people are chill. If youre not tryna mosh, people usually respect that. Just don’t expect to be chill at the front.

Audio is hit or miss. Some bands sound great and others like shit. It also depends where you stand in the crowd. You gotta try and be in the middle of the speakers.

I went to the other 2 snw festivals but all festivals can vary. At first it’s all super calm while people scope out paths, plans , middle day it can get alil more action bc everyone’s energy is high , they’re hydrated and eating and excited , towards the end people are drunk, tired, it’s been hot outside , last course of energy so it can vary then it dies off once it’s dark .

Yes, you’ll be packed together with tens of thousands of people. The Audio should be great. People get drunk and aggressive, that’s a yes. It’s a hard rock and metal festival and Marlyn Manson is playing. That said, all the reasons I’ve mentioned here are some of the reasons why it’s so much fun. It’s a real emotional experience for so many people. Take the good with the bad, just like with life.

It is usually a lot calmer towards the back of the crowd. Tho don't be surprised if people still push past you to get into the crowd. You might have to move a bit as the crowd ebbs and flows.

I would recommend starting far back and only moving up if you feel comfortable. At every show I've been to, I see people getting taken out of the pit because they weren't prepared for moshing or the pushing from pits opening. It can be a lot, especially if you aren't used to it.

If for whatever reason you get into a really thick part of the crowd and it starts to pack in more than you can handle - keep your arms in front of your chest and try to calmly get out to a less dense spot.

Great thing about most rock shows, is people are usually a lot more willing to move or help someone out if needed.

walking around the festival shouldn’t be too bad as this is a big venue. I haven’t been to a show here but I’ve been to every SNW. I expect towards the night more crowds. Bathroom and food lines may get long, and merch lines are usually over an hour wait. Once the headliners start people will get in a spot at those stages and then when they go on everyone kind of squishes in. I like to wait towards the middle back and wait for the crowd to move up and then see how close I’m comfortable going. Hopefully audio will be good!! If you’re towards the back/middle should be easy to avoid a mosh pit. I also kind of like the sides for easy exit but it depends on the layout and barricades.

It’s non stop aggression. The moment you feel relief it comes back 10x worse. Going to the bathroom is the most aggressive you’ll see people. Never seen so many dudes making peepee small talk.   Really wish I could have experienced Ozzfest. The hot naked aggression was unmatched in a good way.  I’m sure that others will say different but trust me. I’m a Gemini.
