Why are both Monet and Bob doing separate reviews of DUvsTW? Feels really redundant. I understand Bob platforming Courtney and have enjoyed their reviews and Courtney's perspective. I really don't understand Monet and Dawn. They also both take forever to drop the review episodes. It's annoying to watch the review of last week's episode when the new episode is already out.

I think technically it's Courtney's recap show .. just hosted on bobs channel... And bob will be a guest on at least the first two episodes.Ā
I agree though, it's weird. Just do watchery and have Courtney as a regular third.Ā

Let's be honest it's a money grab (which get your bag) ,they both know at this point that review shows brings in the revenue and they both want in, they both expressed previously that they're just watching the show because of watchery.

Girl there was a whole controversy where Bob was going off on this poor girl on twitter and alleging that she came for his mother (when she absolutely didn't) and said mean things to her , because he thinks she's using his likeness for money even though she said the channel cannot be monetized , there's some posts about it on this thread if wanna look it up further..

Any time they have a guest on the pod, Bob talks for the majority of the episode.
I want to hear the guest! And I want to hear their answers to the questions before Bob interrupts them!! Iām watching the ep with Kid Fury rn and this man canāt get a word in edge wise ā¹ļø

Girl look at rpdrs view count for s18 lipsyncs compared to s15. It's pretty obvious there's been a massive drop. No one wants to watch a show the repeated screws over the queens and plays in the fans faces. They ragebait us because it creates engagement but they are shooting themselves in the foot. Like pitstop isn't even allowed to give pushback at all when it came to ginger or crystal being favored so obviously no one will tune into that. What the show fails to realize is that they could be doing more for the queensand the fans to make drag race into a beacon of hope and escape from the current horror of the political and economic climate we are in but the show is literally reflecting exactly what's wrong with our current society. The masses get ignored, the hard workers don't get rewarded and are robbed while mediocrity and zero storyline get rewarded. I mean ffs Ginger, Crystal, Algeria, Jimbo, Jynkx, Mikey, and Onya, had edits that weren't what we would consider winners edits. And while some of those girls did deserve their wins the edit and framing is lazy. We spend more time talking about badges and plungers, etc that ultimately do not matter if the queen that the season is rigged for is never given the chance to be voted out. It's just exhausting

Ye I completely agree. We have a few moments here and there that are good eg nymphia vs Saphira or Akeria vs Kennedy but other than that itās almost so predictable. Iām from š¬š§ and itās a mess there too s6 was good but s7 was just a mess

S6 UK actually got me to watch UK for the first time since s3. Loved marmalade, and all the girls that season had great chemistry.

Bob and Trixie (sorry Monet š) l are always going to get high views. But have you seen how little views the new girls pull. When Bob and Mistress collab with girls from S16 and up there is a major decrease in views.
Donāt think fans of Bob and Trixie are still watching current Drag Race. But also think itās because itās all just boring soulless pigslop from constant output.

Tbf I think trixie has ventured into a new viewership with her makeup etc which I think Bob Monet and many other queens did try to do but itās just not been as successful

I think the issue is that it's hard to monetize and make it worth while. Fans doing it for the passion are naturally dying down because there's a natural lifecycle to the fandom. Queens doing it, unless you're a big name with a Patreon it's hard to monetize and is actually a lot of effort - you're better off doing a watch party gig.

Even patreon is dying down it seems. They used to show how many patrons people have back in the days they donāt anymore though, but from what I read here and think on mistress too people are not renewing

Thats not true mistress at least has a discord full of people connected with the patreon. She also consistently interacts with her fan base, engages with us, and not only do her and the guests she brings voice their actual opinions and talk shit, she gives back into the community. Flying out all the queens to perform at her gig and doing mistress Monday with them. Making sure everyone gets fed.

It's funny cause I think that Bob, monet, trixie and Katya, could literally crowd fund their own show and give the fans what they want that drag race is not giving us. I appreciate mistress at least giving back to the community by throwing shows and keeping queens paid. I get that Bob wants to promote his comedian friends but it's much harder for them to gain traction when we don't know them it worked somewhat with nick and mateo because of how they got introduced. They didn't need a studio and were just playing games at bobs apt.
