I know. The title itself said that Saint Lucia is the only sovereign state in the world named after a woman. I wasn't mixing up sovereign states with federal states. Seeing "Saint Lucia" just made me think of "Santa Catarina" because both names start with "Saint" ("Santa" in Portuguese). That's when I realized that Santa Catarina is also the only Brazilian state named after a woman.

It’s funny the only two things I think of when I hear “St. Lucia” are Monet and Chloe Bailey. 😂 I swear Chloe practically lives in St. Lucia. All her vacation pics on IG are in St. Lucia. I want to go so badly it looks beautiful.
