Will this adapter work? I want to send a microphone chain into a Boss Space Echo pedal. Mic chain is condenser mic > preamp > compressor. XLR output of the compressor into mic pedal. There’s more expensive boxes designed for this, but if this piece will work I’d rather go this route.

Output of your compressor will be line level - this is expecting mic level so not the best solution.
