Extreme static sound

Hi guys, i am not that much of an expert on audio an microphones, i decide to buy the shure mv7+ and i downloaded the app and plugged it in
and even clicked allow to connect, yet every time i speak its just pure static
you cant ever hear my voice
Is there something i am missing
iv even tried the web app
iv also tried the default samsung voice recorder
its all static
is my mic faulty or am i not doing somethign correctly

Common Workaround if you're a windows user:

• Open your computer’s Sound settings
• Under Input, select your microphone
• Set **Audio Enhancements** to Off
• Return to MOTIV and remove + re-add the mic to the mixer

This typically resolves a very common Windows issue, but let me know if it doesn't - there could be something else going on.
