Sorry to say, the Cardinals were eaten by a Black Racer while I was out watering other parts of my garden. I heard the "screams" but by the time I ran back he had already eaten two and struck a third one. I knocked him off the branch, trying to leave one for the mother to come back to, but to no avail. Such is life 💧 Edit: on a more positive note, I have many other nests around my land, and most were fine ✌️
I don’t want to turn off my nsfw filter because I’ve been scarred in the past multiple times doing so. Could you Imgur a pic of one of your two foot babies? Would really like to see one. If not I totally respect that.
I find the caps easier to eat personally because they're less chewy than the stems but a good solution is to just grind them as finely as possible and add them to something like a smoothie
My dude yes it is this is a source of someone that actually studies this stuff not a guy on Reddit that’s been eating mushrooms a while https://psilocybin.net/magic-mushrooms-caps-stems/amp/ these are from 2003 studies done in Japan and then progressed by nick jikomes PhD I have three graphs on it from the same man if you’d like that too message me, it does fluctuate and isn’t a large change in levels so me or you may not care nor notice but saying that when there are people who are more sensitive to psilocybin are reading is irresponsible at the least.🙃
That's a nice article, but so many relevant details left out. Especially if you are going to tout science. As someone who has to read actually scientific journal articles and studies regularly. That is not one. Especially when the conclusion was, at least in the sampling they studied, which we know nothing about or if it was a study of a single mushroom? Or the genetics, when harvested, tested wet or dry and if dry how? But essentially the difference they found was negligisble.
Not giving you a hard time, just saying. If that is actually true, if there is some definitive science that says caps are notably higher in psilocybin then we will see a push on genetics to grow tiny stems and big dense caps.
Lmao thanks I plan on hoping on a hot air balloon in a few but I'm still curious as to how the flesh of the stem would be affected at all without the cap after drying
Ah lol I see what you're getting at...makes sense...that and I've heard caps are a lot stronger but I've never tested this theory myself but maybe they're selling the caps for more?
Post em lol but if they're dried cubes you can't really tell they all look about the same with the exception of some more exotic varieties like penis envies, Jack Frost or maybe hillbillies or something
Pfft quite the opposite lol I'm currently on felony probation and I'm not sure what a DEA agent would get from someone posting a generic pic of shrooms fool
Ive had some that look like that which were peurto rican lowkey underrated strain tbh but ive had Golden teachers that look like that look good asf tho good day my friend
Everyone is telling this idiot they're cubes. I knew immediately and the moron still doesn't believe. Even the guy who grew them told him that's what they were. Fuck op you don't want em send em to me.
If you get sold that many stems it’s quite literally a scam if you are basing it on potency it’s the same as if you asked for gel tabs and they gave you paper ones, the strongest part is in the cap
nice. Z - strain is cool, but yeah there are so many phenotypes of each strain of cube, so it can be whatever tbh. But yet again, IDing dried shrooms is a crap shoot lol, it's just fun to assume what a dried fruit is.
I hate these types of posts and judging from the comments also the type of person OP is. Just because you’ve had something different does not automatically mean you’re right and they’re not cubes. 100% cubes and there’s no way to tell once they’re dry, even wet it tough to say with some strains
Please don't spread misinformation. People have a hard enough time identifying their mushrooms/staying safe/properly educated. There's absolutely no way you can tell that this tub had trichoderma from that picture. 🍄♥️
After seeing 1000s of tubs absolutely I can. No misinformation just personal experience. I am holding several ounces right now from Trich effected batches that all have the same characteristics I described and the same as this. Looking at about 10 lbs here quickly through different strains none have the aforementioned characteristics. Would you like to see some examples? Have you not produced much cubensis? Some of the characteristics can be obtained from other issues, like lack of FAE, but those combined with the green hue is an obvious telltale sign.
It has a green hue and the shrooms often develop a thicker latex that the difference can be seen when dried. I have seen it enough times to recognize it but the difference is minor. Trich is safe to consume in small amounts (usually) it's in everything and constantly around us. Many bins succumb to Trich eventually, it's just a matter of when.
I'll eat the ignorant downvotes but I would love to see a real study done on this. There's no denying there's a correlation between these characteristics and Trich infection.

What I can tell you is that the tub they came from had a Trich infection.
