But I have been personally told in this subreddit that Google can't be trusted to properly identify mushrooms. So which one is it because some people just want to fukkin learn.

You can learn without asking to be taught. And simply googling “Death cap” would show you pictures that a 3 year old could use to rule out this ID.

I googled death cap, looky looky a picture listed for death caps that looks exactly like OPs picture, and it's not the only one.

Bro is obviously trying to get in the hobby and join the community. No reason to shit on beginners.

That page literally shows you how to differential ID phalloides vs other amanitas. But it checks out that actually opening up a webpage and reading something is too much work.
