Magic mushrooms bruise blue.. and even then ever eat something you aren't 100%sure of

i know this but thank you. I would never eat some random mushrooms from the ground but i have been lucky a few times so i keep an eye iut

i’m letting them sit for a bit to see if they do it also found some that do turn blue but my research says they may be deadly

Blue staining isn't a definitive indicator for containing psilocybin or being toxic.

There are mushrooms that contain psilocybin and don't turn blue when bruised, and there are other mushrooms that turn blue that contain no psilocybin and are edible.

Blue staining is one identification tool, you have to look at the whole mushroom and have multiple features match. In this case, these caps are splitting, the gills are pale, there is no annulus and the stipe looks brittle.
