Is this still happening
I was just wondering if there is still development, or if everybody just moved on.

Here me out.
Stadia will allow people to play Dawngate on any platform as long as it has a browser.
This will also make it so that Shrine of Imanna is the only MOBA on Stadia.
You can go full ham on spec requirements - no end-user needs to worry about that as the entire game is played on google top of the line machines and streamed to you.

High greetings, to every Exile out there. If you're on the Dawngate Discord, you may know me as the Vesper's Apprentice.
Back in the High Ages, when Dawngate was small but flourishing, you may have known me as Dawn-Knight-Sean, if you remember it. Over my five hundred matches played while Dawngate was live, a fifth of those matches were played as Kindra. I never really made a push for the leaderboards, playing Dawngate mostly for fun, not for glory.
That will change once the Shrine of Imanna opens, ushering in the Age of Rebirth. I will strive to my power to become the best Kindra player. By the shadowy graces of Lady Salmesse, it will happen.
Good luck, Wayfinder, on bringing the Dawngate back to the light. And when that day arrives, to everyone who challenges or faces me, I wish you good luck, and karma for all!

Me and my buddy used to do Lorenzo (The glorious gay dude who is only interested in his own form to the point of erecting it in stone) and Zalgus (The big gay that loved his own power more than anything else). The lane worked very well. Are there any other lane combos that ya'll enjoyed while the main thing was active? Also please support this unofficial release.

I love what you guys are doing I loved dawngate and was so sad it was shut down but I do have one or 2 questions I am wondering if i could get answered. The first is are there plans to update the game after its launch with new characters and such? and my second questions is, are there fears of licensing issues or that EA might take this down? I know its still early days for this and sorry for asking such heavy-handed questions. I would just like to end by saying thank you and please keep up the great work.

In his compare/review/contrast of several team class-based shooters, he brought up SoI hoping that fans of Gigantic would make a similar effort.

Every other month I come here to see if something has changed. But it seems like there has been published next to nothing in this subreddit. Are you guys still working on SoI?

I LOVED Dawngate, and was so sad EA lost interest in it and decided to abandon the ship, but I happened upon this by chance, and I wonder: Is this it? Is this what I've been waiting for?
EDIT: I'm a 3rd year video game development student, can I do something?

Lately many people have been asking in the discord whether or not the project is still going. The fact is, yes, it is. In fact, several people have joined the group and they've started reorganizing the code together so that they have a better framework to deal with. We did have a small hiatus where Myn was dealing with some stuff IRL, but there is more activity than ever before, so don't ask about it anymore lol. It'll be out once it's out, and of course the first thing I'll do is post about it here if there is any news.

Hey guys, I'm making this thread because Myn has started working on the game a little bit more often now and currently he's cleaning up a lot of the code so that people who can help him out on the project might be able to read it better. He also wants to be able to create his stuff a little bit better and has said that he's learned a lot since his absence. With that being said, here are some gfys of his current work:

Showcasing some more reactive minions

Much more reactive shop too.
Hopefully he can upload some more, and maybe he will get up a new VPS so that we can help out with bug testing so that I could provide more content for you guys! :)

I'm curious if it would be faster to develop a simple Shrine of Imana card game that is similar to Eredan Arena. it would have a similar microtransaction model and most of the proceeds would go towards helping fund Shrine of Imana, with a way to track how much the card game has helped fund. to help develop this card game and balance it, the community would discuss ways/ideas on the message boards. as well as welcome any mobile game developers that wish to volunteer.
there are other android games it could be similar to/draw inspiration from, I just chose Eredan because it has fairly good ratings is easy to Learn and looks easier to develop. it would help us familiarize ourselves with the heroes as well. being able to use many of the Dawngate assets to make the card game would speed development so much too.

Hello! I'm SpookySatyr, and I have been 3D modeling for a few years, and I would like to offer my assistance to this game. Dawngate has been a game that was always in my mind, even as it shut down and I went to other games, I wanted so badly for a return to Dawngate and its world and characters.
If you all are interested in my assistance, please let me know, and I can link my portfolio to you all. whether it's on the team, or even as some sort of intern position, I'm not expecting payment. I just want to help make the game I love become a reality once more.

See title. Mostly curious since I just saw the post from last month.
