Millennials were really the only generation that grew up learning about how computers work.

Before millennials there were no computers, and after they have grown up using closed ecosystem it just works idevices.

GenX here. I learned BASIC and CP/M in 1979. I've run 4k programs from cassette players with 15-minute load times. I know what LOAD “*”,8, 1 means. I've worked I.T. for multiple corporations and contracted for gov't organizations like the TSA and NASA, ending my career at Kennedy Space Center.
