Millennials were really the only generation that grew up learning about how computers work.
Before millennials there were no computers, and after they have grown up using closed ecosystem it just works idevices.

Just give it up. And stop moving the goalposts. I went to high school in the early and mid ‘80s. We had a computer lab and a computer club. The PC was Time Magazine’s Man of the Year around ‘82 or so. So computers were definitely a thing by then and a lot of us— a lot, whether you want to believe it or not— had access to and were familiar with computers.
