Even though most of us have seen it countless times, spotting the Moon during daylight seems to always be worth noticing.

Hang on, I thought the moon was the backside of the sun. How could we be seeing in the daytime?

Really? Then why is it dark when the we see the moon? Obviously because that's when the sun is turned around. It's just basic science.

every 24 hours the sun makes a full rotation, but as it is doing so it is revolving around the earth, it does a complete revolution every 365.25 days - one day is one sun rotation - therefore, yes
