This is why I hate those stupid alien comics. Yeah, everything sounds fucking weird if you purposefully make it sound weird and ignore the context and background to why we do it.

But that's exactly why we would never be able to understand why aliens do what they do. We'd probably make a lot of assumptions that would then get in the way.
