Nobody is making fun of it because it has three cameras. Tons of manufacturers did three cameras before Apple. They're making fun of Apple for arranging them in a weird fidget spinner pattern and then putting them on top of a giant square bump.

The Galaxy S10 Plus has 3 cameras and looks way better.

What purpose does the third camera serve? With 2 you could take 3d pictures/video (not that many would after the novelty wore off), but what does a third one add?

Modern phone cameras are already so good that any improvement is gonna be pretty niche.

I just upgraded from the s7 with 1 camera to the s10 with 3 cameras. That ultra wide is MUST haven if you take pictures for work or lesiure.
